12.08.2001 Exports untextured models from Max to 3do files (used in Total Annihilation, a realtime strategy game) just like they appear in Max (without any trifaces if there aren't any in Max). The exporter needs an object named 'base' in the scene and will export all objects that are linked it. To easily link objects, use the link button or open schematic view. Since no textures are exported from Max the models still need to be textured in 3do Builder or any other suitable tool. |

07.06.2001 With this plugin you can import fully textured TA models (used in Total Annihilation, a realtime strategy game) into Max for build pic rendering. There is not much to the importer, just click File/Import and pick a 3do model to import. Be aware that it won't work without the TA textures in your Max bitmap path, you can get them here. |
