Subcription users get a CAT!

Autodesk has announced that 3DS Max users on subscription can now download a Max 2009 version of the Character Animation Toolkit! The plugin has gone through a long journey before finding its new home: CAT was originally developed by New Zealand-based company Character Animation Technologies, who released it in 2003, and was later acquired by Softimage in 2006. After Softimage itself was acquired late last year, Autodesk has decided to include CAT in the base Max package. More information at Ken Pimentel's blog.
