MAX2AE v3.7 released

Boomer Labs have released an updated version of their MAX2AE plugin for 3DS Max. This latest version brings support to 3DS Max 2013, After Effects CS6, and includes Unicode Character Support. You can check out the full details of the release plus pricing options on the Boomer Labs website. (Note: we usually don't post news about plugin recompiles but in this case we are making an exception due to the fact that a good number of people were waiting for this one)

What’s the difference with the scene stats compositor link within 3dsmax 2013. Works fine by me and it’s completely free.

I wanted to ask the same question. Could someone please compare these two?

Biggest difference is ease of use. No “connection” required. You can send your max file to any AE user on the team (including copying cameras to your clipboard!). Including those on Mac (cannot do in current free max vers). It’s rock solid, which the connection is NOT. Also you can easily change the scale of your scene before you import into AE. I think there are a few more differences, but I can’t remember right now. Its way better and totally worth the money.
