Ex-3DS Max Product Manager Shane Griffith as well as ex-Major Account Executive at Autodesk Michael Ephraim have been hired by The Foundry / Luxology, in order to expand their sales and marketing team. More on The Foundry's website.

its a bit confusing why all the heads (Ken, Shane..) leave the boat. No idea if this is the right direction, few months before a new release…lets hope the best

Ken is still at Autodesk AFAIK.

People move around – it would be weirder if everyone stayed at the same place.

And Shane was let go back in late summer 2012, during the massive layoff of ~500 people, just because Autodesk missed their own set goal in revenue growth ( it still grew, just a few percents less than expected) and the stock nosedived after they released their fiscal numbers…
Nothing to do with the upcoming 2014 product releases
