ha, it is funny to see the news line-up on MU:
1) VFX industry is in a deep s*** (what we all know since months)
2) Hobbit Trailer (a VFX Orgy)
3) XYZ Companies share for free hundreds of 3d cars, 3D trees, 3D people, whatever for VFX productions…
If i would be a psychologist and this my patient, I would create an interesting profile for his terrible disease.

More like the bids are too low in order to beat out neighboring FX houses for the job. That “people too expensive” that is a load of bull, on set people make as much or more than most VFX people.
