Modeling knitted clothing research paper

Cem Yuksel, author of the Hair Farm plugin, and a number of researchers from Cornell University have come up with an impressive poly-based modeling method that allows for the creation of yarn-level models of complex knitted garments for CG models. A paper with their research will be presented at this year's SIGGRAPH. Watch a video and find out more at Cem Yuksel's site.
