Adobe acquires IRIDAS technology, hints at HDR video

Adobe announced that it has acquired certain assets of IRIDAS. Adobe Creative Suites are expected to gain new tools that allow to further manipulate color and light for any type of content, and an Adobe blog post specifically mentions HDR and raw video. The addition of IRIDAS software includes SpeedGrade, a toolset for stereoscopic 3D, RAW processing, color grading and finishing of digital content. The IRIDAS development team will move to Adobe.
