No new features in Composite 2012

The reason behind the lack of official news regarding Composite 2012 seems to be, surprisingly enough, that there may be no new features to announce. According to a recent thread at Autodesk's Area, Composite's 2012 release will address a number of bugs but will bring no new features. The unconfirmed information triggered comments recalling Combustion's fate and speculating on what will happen with Composite's development: "without trust in these aeras being fix/enhanced, Composite may just stay on dvds", "this is exactly the path we saw Combustion go down". The news comes only a year after Composite (a.k.a. Toxik) was bundled with Autodesk's 3D applications. More at Autodesk's Area.
