Intel unveils Thunderbolt

The new interface for connecting peripheral devices offers 10Gbps data transfer speeds (2x USB 3.0), and high-speed data and HD video together on a single cable (via PCI Express and DisplayPort protocols). More at PCWorld, Intel, LaCie.
