Power SubD-NURBS released

NPower Software announced the release of Power SubD-NURBS, a Max plugin designed to convert Sub-D models into a NURBS-based format that can easily interface with CAD systems and CAD modeling operations. Your workflow can now combine the conceptual design process of Sub-D modeling with the engineering, analysis, and manufacturing design process of CAD operations. Coupled with Power NURBS, Power SubD-NURBS allows you to model quickly in Sub-D, convert to NURBS to apply Boolean operations, filleting, etc., and then go back to the original Sub-D model and perform additional Sub-D operations. IntegrityWare had earlier released a SubD-NURBS library back in June 2010. More info and video tutorials at NPowerSoftware.com.

Thats good news for all SubD modeler… CAD packages mostly don’t know what to do with poly meshes…
