Imagination to acquire Caustic Graphics

Imagination Technologies announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Caustic Graphics. Imagination Technologies specializes in multimedia and communication technologies, and provides GPU designs for Apple's mobile devices (Apple actually owns a percentage of the company). What this may mean for the possibility of a Brazil r/s interactive renderer plugin for Max as recently discussed by Caustic Graphics is yet to be seen, but it seems its future is "mobile".
