Dolby’s HDR PRM-4200 Professional Reference Monitor

A few years after acquiring BrightSide Technologies, Dolby has announced the launch of its first HDR display. The monitor is a 42-inch flat-panel with a 1920x1080 resolution that uses a backlight consisting of RGB LEDs to create a full-color backlit image. The combination of a LED backlight and LCD screen produces a final image with true blacks, dark detail, high dynamic range and accurate color gamut. More info and a video at HDRLabs and Dolby.
