Sintel open source movie released!

The Blender Institute has finally released Sintel (Dutch for cinder or ember), the third animated short created with Blender as part of their series of open movie projects. As with Elephants Dream and Big Buck Bunny, the production of the movie was aimed at developing new features for Blender itself while being used in a production environment. The film offers dynamic visuals, a fragmented narrative and a seemingly external conflict that manages to hold the viewer's attention for almost 15 minutes. No small feat.
