What do you think of Composite 2011?

Autodesk developers are asking for feedback on the latest Composite release. Does it need text animation tools? Particles? Better footage import capabilities? A video morph filter? Editing tools? All of the above? Share your thoughts at Autodesk's forums.

1, – I’ll let the community decide if it’s any good.
2, – If it is of value employers will start requesting it as a skill set.
3, – I do question how complete it is as a tool set. Why would Autodesk under cut their other products.

Hi Mick. I think we’ll see more Combustion tools show up soon on Composite. Given the fact that the application has suddenly gained hundreds of thousands of new users, I believe it has a LOT of potential for development. It’s off to a great start already, and if Autodesk is willing to allocate enough resources I’d be willing to place my bets on this one. Of course, Autodesk could lag in development as they did with Combustion, but since it’s in the hands of so many users now let’s hope they’ll take this one more seriously.
