Disney releases Ptex library as open source

Per-Face Texture Mapping (Ptex) is a texture mapping method devised at Disney Animation Studios that requires no manual setup, scales to models of arbitrary mesh complexity and needs no UV assignments. The code has been released as open source. A demo video of 3D painting using the Ptex texture format is available on You Tube. More at Ptex.us, GitHub and Disney.
