SpeedTree have released the latest version of their tree creation plugin for Max. SpeedTree Cinema allows users to freehand draw branches with a tablet or mouse, and freely manipulate the generated control points afterwards. Tree features may be edited by hand or with a wide array of procedural tools, including forces, mesh crawling, branch welding, LOD, etc. Every aspect, from height, growth direction and structural parameters, to the placement of individual roots and branches, can be modeled precisely.
