The Mental Ray cookbook is a Wiki-based collection of recipes of how to achieve certain effects with Mental Ray in 3DS Max.

With contributions from people like Zap Anderson and Jeff Patton and others, this Wiki is supposed to be a collective ‘cookbook’ for 3DS Max users that work with Mental Ray. It covers many advanced rendering topics and, with your help, will continue to grow. As this is a Wiki system, everybody can contribute. So whenever you found a good solution for a problem or an answer to a question regarding Mental Ray in 3DS Max, quickly hop over to the ‘mr cookbook’ and add what you have found.
