Overnight Batch Render is an easy-to-use batch rendering tool for Max, capable of processing multiple scene files sequentially on a single computer. Overnight can handle multiple scene files, multiple cameras per scene and even different scene states, working together with Max built-in Batch Render tool. It has the ability to suppress warning messages that usually show up when opening or rendering new scenes, avoiding interruptions in the rendering process. You can override the output size, filename and frame range for all your renders from a single place. It's very useful to quickly test changes, render previews or generate thumbnails of your files.

Overnight Batch Render is available for Max 2015 to 2020 and costs $21. A demo version is available here.

New Plugin: Modelling

Make Planar Advanced is a commercial MAXScript which gives you additional flexibility over the Max default 'make planar' tool by separating the process of creating a plane and projecting a selection to it. It also lets you project to the plane on a specific axis to avoid messing up the flow of your topology. The script can be run directly on selected objects, or on verts/edges/faces with the Editable Poly or Edit Poly modifier.

Make Planar Advanced is available for Max 2012 to 2019 and costs $3.

New Plugin: Modelling

msKonektus allows you to connect vertices or particles using different geometry, similar to the Plexus plugin in After Effects. It is fast and efficient, and provides you with many different parameters to customize your final effect. It works with geometry and particles (standard partcles, Particle Flow, tyFlow).

msKonektus is available for Max 2017 to 2020 and costs $8.
